Abstract
Carcinomas of the adrenal cortex are exceptionally uncommon in children. There were four cases of adrenocortical carcinoma recorded in the Third National Cancer Survey, conducted a decade ago [1]. In addition, carcinomas of unidentified types were rare. Guidelines for management of these rare tumors are generally based on data obtained in adults, since there are only anecdotal reports of these diseases in the pediatric population.
