Abstract
In the preceding chapter, five components of emotion were defined. The developmental issues related to the individual components were discussed, as well as possible models of development. For the sake of simplicity, each component was dealt with separately. Not considered were the various interconnections among these components or how development might affect the interconnections. It is now necessary to consider developmental models in terms of the connections among these features.
