Development of the Capacity of Initiative
There are many elements that are not susceptible to valuation. It would seem almost childish to recall this latter fact, and this is why all changes should be interactive. One of the factors playing an important part in any change in activity that requires a certain amount of time to acquire new abilities is the preconceived idea that an adult person has more learning problems than young people. We are dealing with a physiological aspect that is difficult to overcome, even in the light of salary improvements of a respectable level. It is quite true to say that certain teaching techniques are required for older people. We are entering the era of permanent education when a <<promotional society>> is getting under way. By the very nature of current existence, individual production time is going to diminish drastically in favour of time spent on new knowledge which is necessary in order to accompany scientific progress.
