Abstract
In disturbed crystalline regions phonons lose their particle properties to a large degree. New effects, such as capture, delay and spectral redistribution, occur. In view of these it seems worth-while to handle phonon transport in a non-scattering type of approach. An additional motivation for such an investigation is the strong progress in the spectral, spatial and temporal discrimination of lattice modes which recently has been made.
