This paper presents the early survival figures of a study designed to evaluate the toxicity of Adriamycin and 5-Fluorouracil combined with irradiation in the primary treatment of T3 bladder cancer. Fifteen of 18 patients survived one year. These results are better than would be expected. Adjuvant chemotherapy in T3 bladder cancer deserves further evaluation.
