Bladder haemorrage in patients with widespread advanced tumours or haemorrhagic cystitis secondary to radiation therapy is frequently very resistant to treatment and presents a serious problem. In this group of patients we applied the hydrostatic pressure technique and also used intravesical instillation of formalin into the urinary bladder.
