Abstract
Transition metal heterocycles, although known since the pioneering work of F.G.A. Stone,1,2 have only recently been explored in great detail as catalytic intermediates and as reagents. The following is a partial list of the simple metallacyclic complex. Those that have been isolated (or a derivative thereof) are in boxes.

By mass spectral analysis and lH NMR.
For first 10% greater than 90% O2 at the end of the reaction the isotopic purity was 70%. Very little norcarane-d1 was observed.
