Abstract

The Integrated Quality Assurance System is one in which normal quality control functions become an integral part of the manufacturing process. In this system the manufacturing personnel have full responsibility for the quality of the product, as well as its production. Quality Assurance personnel are responsible for establishment of the system as well as its implementation and the monitoring of its efficiency, functionality and cost effectiveness. Quality Control personnel are responsible for product audits at various critical in-process inspection points as well as the final inspection product conformance to internal and external or customer specifications.
