Part of the Cancer Treatment and Research book series (CTAR, volume 18)

In the last decade, liver resection for tumor has become an operation which can be done safely by many surgeons. As more experience has accumulated, our understanding of the results which may be achieved has matured and we know better which patients may profit from liver resection for either primary or secondary liver cancer.
