Abstract

Osteosarcoma is the most common primary bone tumor in pediatric patients. The incidence rate was 3.1 cases per million U.S. white children less than 15 years of age per year. The corresponding figure for U.S. black children was 2.5 361. The highest rate was 5.2 among U.S. black boys and the lowest rate was 0.5 among boys in Queensland, Australia 16,17,77,99,209,210,237,332,360,362.
