Abstract
Odors associated with incineration are normally organic and result from the incomplete combustion of organic matter in the waste feed. The most effective means of dealing with the problem of odor generation is alteration of the burning process to increase burning efficiency, thereby decreasing the occurrence of odor-causing compounds in the exhaust stream.
