Abstract

The last decade has witnessed major changes in the management of Testicular Germ Cell Tumors with the development of toxic but curative chemotherapy for patients with advanced metastatic disease, such that many previously accepted dogmas have had to be revised. This paper will review some aspects of the changing attitudes to this disease in the light of the experience of the London Hospital during the past 30 years.
