Abstract

As malignant testicular carcinoma metastazises with few exceptions primarily into the retroperitoneum, the detection of retroperitoneal metastases is highly important for tumor staging and further therapy. Until recently, retroperitoneal metastases were imaged only by indirect methods such as urography, lymphography or by more invasive methods, such as anigography and cavography [1]
