Abstract

Using data obtained with the TASSO detector at PETRA, results are presented on weak-electromagnetic effects in lepton and charmed quark production. Using the semileptonic decay of the b quark, a determination of the branching ratio B.R. (B→ℓνX) is made and indications of weak-electromagnetic interference effects are presented. Inclusive π,K,p,Λ,ρ° and D* cross-sections are presented and the consequences of these measurements for the fragmentation picture is given. Finally, upper limits are given for the production of new scalar particles.
