Experimental Status of Neutrino Mass

Abstract

Neutrino physics faces a number of interesting challenges, among them are the following fundamental questions: Are neutrinos massive? Are physical neutrinos pure or mixed states? Are neutrinos Dirac or Majorana particles? Evidence for neutrino mass and mixing would lend support to grand unified theories or other schemes beyond the standard electroweak model.
