A Double-Blind Comparative Study of Pirlindole and Amitriptyline in 30 Depressive Patients

  • L. Blaha

Abstract

On the basis of the pharmacological results, and particularly because of the results of the known clinical trials, a 3-week randomized study of pirlindole against amitriptyline was designed to evaluate the efficacy, the onset of action, the incidence of side effects, and the dosages of pirlindole in comparison with amitriptyline in patients with endogenous depression.
