Abstract

The heart rate and blood pressure response during stress testing is unique to a particular individual. Some people have an exaggerated response and are known as “hyperreactors” while others barely react at all and are known as “hyporeactors”. Whether or not the hyperreactors have an increased risk of cardiovascular disease is controversial.
