Abstract

Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) frequently is associated with the ectopic production of peptide hormones. Sometimes the production of these hormones may produce paraneoplastic syndromes, and among these the syndrome of inappropriate production of antidiuretic hormone and ectopic ACTH syndrome, have been described to occur in 5–10% of patients with SCLC[1].
