Abstract

This chapter describes the Constraint Back-Propagation procedure [54,55] of the STABB program described in Chapter 4. The procedure uses the RTA Method for shifting bias. Three experiments with LEX and STABB show the procedure in action. Following those are a statement of the requirements for using the Constraint Back-Propagation procedure, an annotated trace of the procedure’s activity during part of the first experiment, and a discussion of problems with possible solutions or directions for further work.
