Abstract
This conference has given an overview of the rapidly expanding knowledge of how certain chemicals interact with cytoskeletal components. These developments have given both a better understanding of cell biology as well as details on mechanisms of toxic actions. Areas where studies of the cytoskeleton might be of particular importance to the development of toxicology are the nervous system, reproduction and development.
