Abstract
In the last ten years hemodialysis has been employed on a greater number of aged patients suffering from various diseases, most of them being of cardiovascular nature. Today, an ever increasing number of Dialysis Centers employ Bicarbonate-buffered dialysate in order to achieve a better dialytic tolerance with high efficiency dialyzers.
