Monte Carlo Investigations of Asymptotic Scaling in QCD

Abstract

We discuss a Monte Carlo study of the phase transition in pure gauge lattice QCD. The effects of the criterion for transition temperature on a finite lattice are discussed and an estimate for the latent heat of the transition is obtained.
