Abstract
In a strongly coupled OCP the plasraon dispersion becomes negative (dω)/dk)k=0 < 0 for Γ > Γcrit, 2 < Γcrit < 10. This has been established both by MD simulations and analytic studies (Hansen, Pollock and MacDonald, 1974; Hansen, Pollock and MacDonald 1975; Abramo and Parrinello, 1975).
