Abstract
The three dimensional representation of the phase diagram has been determined which accounts for the evolution of the pseudo-ternary diagrams of the system [decane + C10EO6+ brine (Na2C03)] when the salt concentration increases at a given temperature. Because of the temperature-salinity equivalence, it can be extended to the case where the fourth variable is the temperature instead of the salt concentration. The role of the crystalline phase is also examined.

Ukanil 50 is the trade name of an ethylene oxide adduct synthesized from a mixture of two fatty linear alcohols with 9 and 11 carbon atoms. It can be assumed that its mean formula is C10(EO)6. It was kindly furnished by M. Bruno and Tilquin from P.C.U.K.
