Understanding Heavy Electron Systems

Abstract

We give a brief overview of selected aspects of the physics of heavy-electron systems, including the basic physical picture, magnetic properties, a phenomenological framework for describing their properties in a unified way, superconductivity, and transport properties in the superconducting states.
