Abstract
We have evaluated numerically various operator expectation values in the Gutzwiller Wavefunction1 for the less-than-half-filled-band case. These results are essentially exact; previously, only analytic approximation of uncertain validity have been available in this regime, which is the interesting one for applications to heavy-fermion systems.2 In addition, this wavefunction is a rare example of a strongly correlated Fermi liquid in which many interesting properties can be reliably calculated.
