Hidden Symmetry of Two Dimensional σ-Model Defined on Symmetric Goset Space

Abstract

The hidden symmetry of two dimensional σ-model defined on symmetric coset space and its integrability properties such as the existence of infinite numbers of conservation laws are reviewed. Chiral models with Wess-Zumino-Witten terms are shown to have similar behaviors.
