Immunological Methods for Serum Bile Acid Analysis

Chapter

Abstract

It is known that bile acid metabolism is abnormal in patients with liver disease, and elevated blood levels have been extensively reported [1, 2]. Many studies using various analytical methods have been carried out with the aim of attributing a diagnostic role to serum bile acid determination in different liver diseases [3–5].
