Abstract
A group of 32 photographs is included with this chapter to illustrate particularly important, on-the-job construction conditions at a number of projects. Many of the aspects or conditions discussed in the following text, as well as in Chapter 12, can be more completely visualized by examination of those photographs. (See Figs. 13–1 through 13–32.)
