On the Quantum Malus Law for Photon and Spin Quantum Correlations

Abstract

We present a quantum version of the classical Malus law.1 Using different in form quantum quasi-distributions2–3 we give a unified approach to the problem of locality, positivity and randomness, which are fundamental in the understanding of the violation of the Bell inequalities.
