e+e Heavy Flavour Factories Based on New Ideas

  • Guy Coignet

Today, High Energy Physics is interpreted in terms of the Standard Model (electroweak interaction) and of the Quantum Chromodynamics (strong interaction). Until now, the Standard Model (S.M.) has been very successful and no deviation from its predictions have been experimentally observed. On the other hand, the S.M. is unsatisfactory from a theoretical point of view since it needs 21 input parameters, it does not explain the mass generation problem and it does not explain the origin of CP and T violation in K° meson decay.
