  • Chapter
Mycoses in AIDS Patients

Abstract

The response of the human body to fungi varies with the fungal species involved, with their virulence and pathogenicity, with infection promoting factors, but also with the host involved, i.e. the age, health condition, the immunity status, susceptibility to infection or allergy etc.
