p$\overline p$ Annihilation into Vector Mesons and into πππ, $\overline K$Kπ, ππ and K$\overline K$ in the ³P₀ Model

Abstract

Meson nucleon coupling form factors and coupling constants in the space like and in the time-like regions are calculated in the ³P₀ model¹⁾. In this model qp̄ pairs are created/annihilated in the quantum numbers of the vacuum. I apply the same model to pp̄ annihilation into πππ and KK̄π in which two π are correlated to make a ρ and K and π (K̄ and π) are correlated to make a K* (K̄*) and study the select ion rule on pp annihilation into pp̄ or KK̄* (K̄K*). I study also pp̄ annihilation into two or three mesons by solving the Schrödinger equation with the annihilation potential derived from the quark model combined with the G-parity transformed meson exchange potential of the Bonn group and the Paris group. I compare branching ratios of ππ and KK̄ product ion from S- and P-wave anti pro tonic atom calculated with the meson exchange potential and the quark model annihilation potential.
