High Resolution Magnetocardiography, Source Localization and Multichannel Magnetometry

  • Chapter
Advances in Biomagnetism

Abstract

High resolution magnetocardiography (HR MCG) is a new and promising method of studying heart activity. One of the most interesting clinical applications of HR MCG is the localization of pathological cardiac sources which has often been demonstrated (Erné, 1985, Fenici et al., 1985, Katila et al., 1987). For the localization appropriate source and thorax models are needed.
