Abstract

In recent years, there has been considerable interest in the dynamical behaviour and diffusion of adatoms on metal surfaces. The presence of adatoms on surfaces modifies drastically most of the surface dynamical properties.1.2 In addition, the diffusion of adatoms plays an important role for the understanding of homoepitaxial growth, heterogeneous catalysis, etc.3.4
