I know that there are two rules for speakers: that you should keep it short and that you should try to be light and humorous to keep the room awake. I know that the issue of global climate change is not exactly a source of chuckles these days, so the humor part may be a little bit difficult, but I will, indeed, try to make up for that by being brief and allowing some opportunity for discussion afterwards.
