Abstract

The design of two-level blocked and split-plot experiments has recently received a considerable amount of attention in the literature. In this chapter, we will give a brief overview of the recent developments. First, we introduce the 2 m and 2 m−f factorial designs and the concepts of resolution and aberration. Next, we discuss how the 2 m and 2 m−f factorial designs can be arranged in blocks and how they can be used in a split-plot experiment.
