Abstract

Skin biopsies of two females and one male were kindly provided by Dr. H. Heck, Catskill Game Farm, Catskill, New York, USA. All gave similar results. The autosomes are difficult to classify. All have short arms and 14 of these may equally well be designated subtelocentrics. The X comprises approximately 8.5% of the haploid set and, in autoradiography, only the paracentromeric area and the proximal one-fourth of each arm are euchromatic. The very small Y is not late labeling.
