Abstract

Skin biopsies were kindly provided by Dr. B. O’Gara from animals captured in Missoula County, Montana, USA. The results are, in general, similar to the specimens described by Sutton and Nadler. For convenience of comparison with their karyotypes the arrangement employed by these authors has been used here. The karyotype of the female has been constructed with the help of the labeling pattern in autoradiography. The X-chromosomes are thus positively identified since one is late replicating in female cells.
