Abstract
Electricity may be static (at rest) or dynamic (in motion). Dermatologists ordinarily do not use static electricity. On the other hand, they use dynamic electricity every day, in general much more so than any other physical modality, for electrotherapy and especially for electrosurgery. Understandably, we must stress the importance of the proper use of electricity.
