Abstract
Alix Williams is the third child in a family of four. One older sister had died at the age of five, long before Alix was born. Her father is a building inspector; he is a sensitive man who has good rapport with young people and has worked for many years with his church’s youth group. Alix’s mother, Sonia, does volunteer work among senior citizens and at the local art gallery.
