A total of 1,372 transplants in children less than 16 years old has been done in the United States . This experience with the pediatric patient has presented special problems, including growth retardation, serious major psychosocial difficulties and technical obstacles [1,2]. My experience with renal allograft ureteral complications in children is reported herein.
