Abstract

A germ of an n-dimensional Lagrangian manifold can be given by a generating function in n variables. In this sense the manifold of Lagrangian germs in ℝ2n has an atlas, each of whose 2n charts is the space of germs of functions of n variables (modulo additive constants).
