Abstract
Often in the final chapter of a book the author integrates, or attempts to integrate, all that went before. A grand scheme is devised, or some sweeping generalizations are offered. Unfortunately, I have no such insights to suggest; there is no grand design, no overall conception, that can bring together under one common framework the wealth of material discussed in the preceding chapters.
