Abstract

Advocacy in health care is a calling many of us have pursued—one way or another—for many years. And yet, it has not attained the full status of an independent profession. I hope—and anticipate—that the outstanding program at Sarah Lawrence and proceedings such as this one will help to accomplish this important goal.
