Abstract

We are working on an approach that promises to provide a great deal of information on protein structure-function relationships. Our immediate target is cytochrome c. We want to use 2D NMR methods to resolve the protons in cytochrome c, and then measure the behavior of those that exchange with solvent protons. We expect this information to provide a great deal of insight into the secrets of protein function.
