Anomalous Figures and the Tendency to Continuation

  • Chapter

Abstract

Throughout the paper, I will call the phenomena studied in this volume anomalous figures, in order to stress that perception of a figure occurs in conditions different from the normal ones.

We were saddened to learn of the death in March 1987 of Gian Franco Minguzzi. He was a man of exceptional kindness and wisdom and he will be missed very much.
