Abstract
Addiction to, dependency on, or abuse of drugs is on the rise at all levels of American society. Though parents are more inclined to be concerned about substances like cocaine, heroin, or marijuana, alcohol represents the gravest problem, with prescription or over-the-counter drugs the next most serious threat to the well-being of millions of Americans.
Wine is a mocker; strong drink is raging.
