Abstract

This paper proposes a new approach to the H control problem based on the notion of conjugation. A method of controller augmentation is introduced which leads to the formulation of H control problem as a Jlossless conjugation. The complete characterization of the class of desired controllers is given in the state space for the so-called one-block problem. An extension of this result to the general four-block problem is briefly discussed.
