Continous Measures Taken over Time
Table 6.1 displays the results of exercise testing for 40 angina patients in a crossover study comparing drug A to placebo. Patients were given four exercise tests:
week 0—just before randomization to treatment;
week 4—at the end of the first double-blind period;
week 5—at the end of a single-blind placebo wash-out; and
week 9—at the end of the second double-blind period.
